2016 Reading Challenge – February Update

library-869061_640As far as the 2016 Reading Challenge is going, February isn’t much better than January (actually, I think it is worse…).  I have started reading several books (expect the list to be long in March and April!) but I didn’t get many books finished.  So far I’m done 5/52 books, and about 3 books behind.  Woops.

In February, I completed:

  • 4. Why Trust the Bible (Greg Gilbert)
  • 5. True Worshippers (Bob Kauflin

I loved both of these books.  I received What is the Gospel (Greg Gilbert) at Cross Conference several years ago, but never got around to reading it until last month. Shortly after finishing What is the Gospel, I was at a conference where I was given a follow up book by Greg Gilbert, Why Trust The Bible.  I really appreciated this book, and will be looking to round off my collection of books by Greg Gilbert by purchasing Who is Jesus.

I have wanted to read True Worshipers for a long time, and I’m so glad I finally was able to read it. This book will change you — it will cause you to desire more from your relationship with your Creator, it will cause you to desire to know God more deeply and it will cause you to see the saving work of Christ in us through worship!

I plan on writing reviews for both of these books, and will update this post with the links when I am able to review — at this point, it might be summer before I get around to writing for fun!
