February Reading Challenge Update

This month, like many other mid-semester months, was full of starting books but not really reaching the end of any of them.  I made a lot of progress, but don’t have a lot to show for.  I only finished two books all the way, putting me at 9 books total for the year and roughly 50% behind schedule.  This should be concerning, but I’m not too worried because I know March and April will both be heavy-hitters, with a bunch of books I started this month finally being completed.   I finished:

  1. Transgender (Vaughan Roberts)
  2. God and Politics (Mark Dever)

Both of these books were pretty short, and while I enjoyed both I don’t think I will be posting full length reviews on either.  I will say, though, that both of these books are important at this time in our culture, and I think most people could benefit from reading either of them.  Both books are under 100 pages, making them a quick read; but with important content that I think would really serve most Christians well in learning more about both things.

As always, I would love to hear what you’re reading!  I love seeing what books people are loving, as it helps me choose what to add to my personal collection.  Feel free to drop me a tweet (@sydney_ann__) with any great book suggestions!
