Today I am giving away three copies of Engaging with Jewish People, sponsored by The Good Book Company!
This is the fourth book in The Good Book Company’s “Engaging With…” series, and it is an introduction to what Jewish people believe and how Christians can reach out to them with the gospel. Engaging with Jewish People is a short book (only 120 pages), but don’t think just because it is short that it will be an easy read. This is a book that you should take your time reading, as you seek to understand the Jewish worldview. Author Randy Newman was raised in a Jewish household, but later in life became a believer in Christ. Through Newman’s pursuit of Christ from Judaism, through the confusion that he battled, he is able to clearly explain the different sects of Judaism, what they believe, what they believe Christianity is, and effective ways for gospel ministry with Jewish people.
I’m really grateful for The Good Book Company’s commitment to publishing solid, biblical books and I am excited about this series of books they have been publishing. I think that it is incredibly important for Christians to have a high level understanding of the worldviews of those who we are sharing the gospel with, which makes this book (and the others in this series) something that I enthusiastically recommend Christians read.
